As a lawyer-turned-baker, Priyanka Charles, Owner & Head Chef, Mestura, says that her childhood passion for baking made her realise the worth of living life on her own terms and further, went on to complete her diploma in patisserie and boulangerie from Le Cordon Bleu, London after which she established Mestura.
Showcasing her brand, Priyanka Charles says that her brand’s USP is to customise cakes in the smallest possible size with intricate details so that the customer is not forced to buy a big cake just to fit in the design.
On the importance of professional degree in baking, she says that though it is essential to have a pastry school education to learn the art and craft of baking techniques, the same learning can be attained through professional bakers who are well-adept at their craft and make for good professional trainers.

Mestura, a name with Galician roots, meaning “Blending,” was founded on May 12, 2019. True to its name, Mestura’s mission is to “Blend Happiness” into every bite.
Led by the talented Priyanka Charles, a Le Cordon Bleu, London, graduate specializing in Pastry and Breads, Mestura offers a delectable array of eggless cakes and desserts, meticulously crafted to suit every palate and occasion. Located in the Malad, mumbai Mestura’s dedicated production unit ensures that each creation is a masterpiece.
